I am a therapist specialising in helping people with a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and stress. I believe that everyone has the potential to heal and grow, and I am committed to providing my clients with a safe and supportive environment in which to do that.
My approach to therapy is integrative, which means that I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including existential, psychodynamic, compassion-based therapy. I tailor my approach to the specific needs of each client, and I believe that the therapeutic relationship is essential to healing.

“People often say that this or that person has not yet found himself. But the self is not something one finds, it is something one creates.” ~ Thomas Szasz
About me
What do you want to know and what do you need to know about me? Many schools of psychotherapy believe that a certain level of anonymity is helpful for the therapeutic relationship between counsellor and client. Some people find it important to have a therapist that they think has been through similar life experiences.
As a therapist, I believe that many of our problems, such as anxiety, depression, addiction, and difficult relationships, stem from having a difficult relationship with certain aspects of ourselves. When we dislike parts of ourselves, we may try to hide or ignore them. This can lead to shame, guilt, and fear, which can have a negative impact on our mental health.
“The most fundamental aggression to ourselves, the most fundamental harm we can do to ourselves, is to remain ignorant by not having the courage and the respect to look at ourselves honestly and gently.” ~ Pema Chödrön
Experience & Education
I completed a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling at Lambeth College and I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP).
I also worked as a therapist at EASE Wellbeing, an affordable counselling service from Oct 2020 to Feb 2025, as well as having worked as an associate counsellor at the Royal College of Music in 2021-22.
I came to counselling after contemplating the different ways in which I could use the knowledge I have accumulated over thirty years of learning how the mind works from an Eastern philosophical position, particularly from the point of view of how we find ourselves caught in unhelpful patterns when it comes to how we want to live.
After leaving university with a BSc (Hons) in Maths, Finance and Management, I spent some years working in IT and management before taking on the role of managing a meditation centre. This role involves coordinating a team of over 40 volunteers and paid staff and covers everything from overseeing the organisation's charitable status to being a welcoming presence to people coming to discover meditation for the first time. This job has brought me into contact with thousands of people, in which time I have noticed that many people are searching for the fundamental ability to be content and to find stability and clarity in themselves. Many people I met experienced anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, a lack of confidence and confusion about what is important to them. All of this prompted me to study in counselling to help further my understanding of the mind and how to address the struggles of being human.
